Connecticut State Bond Commission — The Commission approved $537 million to spend on transportation projects, about $500 million of which will be used to widen a three-mile segment of Interstate 84 near Waterbury.
Senator Rand Paul — The Kentucky Senator is trying to cut funding for the Transportation Alternatives program, which pays for pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure.
American Dream Meadowlands — The East Rutherford, NJ boondoggle continues to lose support. Now, even Governor Christie is losing faith in the mega-mall opening by 2014.
