This Wednesday, April 4, from 5:30-8:00 p.m., New Jersey’s Sussex, Morris, and Warren Counties are sponsoring a workshop on complete streets, which help make roads safer for all users.
The Road to Complete Streets: Making It Happen will feature real world examples of complete streets implementation, an engineer’s perspective, and information on legal issues and liability. The workshop is geared towards elected officials, municipal and county government staff, engineers, planners, recreation officials, and health officials, but anyone interested can attend.
The workshop is being held in the Student Community Center at the County College of Morris in Randolph, New Jersey. For directions, click here.
Registration ($10) includes dinner; attendees can pay at the door, but they are asked to email esnyder@sussex.nj.us beforehand. Dinner will be available at 5p.m.
