Converting to an electric vehicle(EV) can be daunting. EV’s are becoming more accessible and affordable to the public, however there aren’t as many stories that depict the realities of transitioning to an EV. Recognizing this, TSTC embarked on a journey to listen to individuals from all over the state of New Jersey who were eager to share their experiences with owning an EV. TSTC’s “Charging Ahead: Transitioning to Electric Vehicle” campaign will feature real New Jerseyan EV owners and will reveal how EV ownership has revolutionized their lives. They dispel misconceptions, share their successes, and ignite inspiration for others to join the electric ‘rEVolution.’
Our aim overall is to spotlight stories from all across New Jersey in hopes it brings about more understanding and familiarity in the understated wonder realm of EVs, especially for those who might benefit the most. The narratives will delve into topics such as the EV government incentive program, strategies for long-range trips, charging infrastructure, and the financial advantages of EV ownership.
We kicked off our efforts during Earth Week from April 22-26 by launching our first video in the series. Kennique Reynolds led the charge with the motto, ‘Keep our Earth Pristine, and Choose to Drive Green,‘ offering valuable insights into long-distance travel and equipping viewers with handy resources for seamless planning.
TSTC’s goal was to raise awareness and advocate for sustainable habits. We spotlighted the advantages of EVs in reducing carbon emissions, improving air quality, and empowering individuals to take action toward a more sustainable lifestyle through education and engagement.
