The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) has released its final draft of the New Jersey Bicycle & Pedestrian Master Plan, which is ready for public review and comments. The final draft and Executive Summary incorporates revisions based on NJDOT’s Office of Bicycle and Pedestrian Programs review of the Draft Master Plan.
The final draft is also currently under review by NJDOT, and the finalized document will be available by late November.
Comments should be sent to Kevin Perry at kperry@rbagroup.com by this Friday, October 28.
After the final plan is released, NJDOT will host a series of internal and external partner summits each year over the first three years of the plan. The summits are an opportunity to review the Master Plan, evaluate performance measures and identify and collaborate on future activities. Continued partner participation in these will be critical to plan implementation.
