Join us on Tuesday, September 27–this coming Tuesday–to celebrate the region’s biggest and boldest recent transportation initiatives! Tickets are on sale now.
We are excited to honor the international planning and engineering firm AECOM, which has been an innovator on major transit projects in New York and around the globe. AECOM is, as the company motto goes, quite literally “built to deliver a better world, and that’s especially true in New York. AECOM has been involved in some of the most transformative recent transit projects in New York City and the metropolitan area. From the Second Avenue Subway and the Long Island Rail Road “Right Track” project, to Moynihan Station and the Northeast Corridor, AECOM leads amidst challenges facing the region’s transportation network.
This year’s honorees also include New Jersey Senators Loretta Weinberg and Bob Gordon, leaders on Port Authority reform; and CTfastrak, Connecticut’s bus rapid transit system.
