Policymakers, planners and advocates from across Connecticut will gather on September 15 in Hartford for the fifth annual Transportation Funding Forum, The Importance of Investing in Transportation. The forum is hosted by the Capitol Region Council of Governments, Connecticut Association for Community Transportation, Connecticut Construction Industries Association, Connecticut Fund for the Environment, Transit for Connecticut and the Tri-State Transportation Campaign.
Alison Premo Black, Senior Vice President of Policy at the American Road & Transportation Builders Association will deliver the keynote, and Darnell Grisby, Director of Policy Development & Research at the American Public Transportation Association will be the featured speaker. There will also be a panel discussion featuring New Britain Mayor Erin Stewart, Chair of Hartford’s Planning & Zoning Commission Sara Bronin, and TSTC Connecticut Policy Director Joseph Cutrufo.
