The Connecticut Bike Walk Summit brings together advocates, planners, engineers and policymakers from across Connecticut to share ideas on how to make Nutmeg State communities safer and more accommodating for walking and bicycling. Don’t miss this chance to hear from experts and connect with others working on these issues.
This year’s summit will feature keynote speaker Roger Geller, Bicycle Coordinator at the City of Portland, Oregon’s Bureau of Transportation. The Summit takes place on Friday, April 24 at the Keeney Memorial Cultural Center in Old Wethersfield. Registration and more information available here.
On the preceding day, Thursday, April 23, Bike Walk Connecticut will present a NACTO Bikeway Design Guide Workshop for professionals, instructed by Roger Geller. Registration for the NACTO workshop is separate from the Bike Walk Summit. Click here for more information on the NACTO workshop.
