In addition to celebrating Complete Streets advocacy in New Jersey, we’re also recognizing four TSTC board members who have been with the organization since its founding 20 years ago. Honorees include:
- Richard Kassel, Tri-State Board Chair and environmental policy expert and director of Gladstein, Neandross & Associates’ east coast operations
- Charles Komanoff, safe streets advocate and director of Komanoff Energy Associates
- James T.B. Tripp, an attorney with Environmental Defense Fund
- Jeffrey Zupan, Senior Fellow for Transportation for Regional Plan Association
- New Jersey Department of Transportation, whose complete streets policy was ranked as the best in the nation by the National Complete Streets Coalition
- AARP New Jersey, which has worked tirelessly for safer streets for seniors and people of all ages in New Jersey
