In addition to celebrating Complete Streets advocacy in New Jersey, we’re also honoring four TSTC board members who have been with the organization since its founding 20 years ago. This year’s honorees include:
- Richard Kassel, Tri-State Board Chair and environmental policy expert and director of Gladstein, Neandross & Associates’ east coast operations
- Charles Komanoff, safe streets advocate and director of Komanoff Energy Associates
- James T.B. Tripp, an attorney with Environmental Defense Fund
- Jeffrey Zupan, Senior Fellow for Transportation for Regional Plan Association
- New Jersey Department of Transportation, whose complete streets policy was ranked as the best in the nation by the National Complete Streets Coalition
- AARP New Jersey, which has worked tirelessly for safer streets for seniors and people of all ages in New Jersey
- Patty Woodworth, cycling advocate and owner of Action Wheels Bike Shop in Deptford, NJ
