The Long Island Complete Streets Summit will be held on April 11, 2013 at the Sustainability Institute of Molloy College at Republic Airport in East Farmingdale. The Summit begins at 8 a.m and light refreshments will be provided.

The event is being organized by Wendel Companies, Vision Long Island and Tri-State Transportation Campaign, and is co-sponsored by AARP and Greenman-Pedersen, Inc.

Mike Lydon, principal of The Street Plans Collaborative, is scheduled to give the keynote address and elected officials, town officials and additional special guests will be on hand to discuss how Long Island can move from talking about complete streets ideas to implementing them.
