This Saturday, March 31, Tri-State, New York City Council Member Letitia James, the Boerum Hill Association, the Park Slope Civic Council, and the Prospect Heights Neighborhood Development Council will host a workshop on Brooklyn’s transportation system.
With the G train’s fate in question and Atlantic Yards poised to impact Brooklyn’s neighborhoods, it’s more important than ever for community members to share their ideas about the borough’s transportation future.
The event will take place on Saturday from 10am-1pm and will be held in the first floor Community Room of the YWCA at 30 Third Avenue, Brooklyn, NY.
To register, email bsherman@council.nyc.gov. Space is limited.
The workshop is co-sponsored by New York City Council Members Stephen Levin and Brad Lander, Brooklyn Community Board 2, the Pratt Center for Community Development, and Transportation Alternatives.
