Connie Sidamon-Eristoff, who served on TSTC’s board for many years, passed away peacefully yesterday in New York City. Mr. Sidamon-Eristoff was a highly regarded public servant, attorney and philanthropist. The board and staff will miss his wisdom, humor, and energy.
After serving in Korea and graduating from Columbia Law School, Mr. Sidamon-Eristoff worked as an attorney and served in municipal, state, and federal government for over fifty years. He was the Region 2 Administrator at the United States Environmental Protection Agency and served on the MTA Board for fifteen years. He was also the chairman of Audubon New York and a board member of the National Audubon Society.
Mr. Sidamon-Eristoff’s funeral will be private, but there will be a public remembrance in February. Donations to Audubon New York or to American Friends of Georgia are requested in place of flowers.
Could you let us know about the Memorial Service in February? Many thanks.
