NJ Transit wants to hear from riders. As part of its “Year of the Customer,” the agency has been rolling out efforts to acquire feedback from its customers. To complement the “SCORE Card” initiative, NJ Transit is holding public forums “to hear about your experiences.”
According to the agency, “the forums will give customers the opportunity to speak directly with NJ TRANSIT general managers of operations and senior level staff.”
The next forums are scheduled as follows:
- Thursday, October 27 : 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at New York Penn Station, 7th Avenue Concourse adjacent to the ticket windows.
- Tuesday, November 1: 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at Hoboken Terminal, adjacent to the waiting room doors.
Check back for additional locations and times as announced by NJ Transit.
NJ Transit’s Ridership Questionaire is a failure from the start. The questionaire must have been designed by someone who never commuted by mass transit because the form does not divide the questions into “Morning Commute” and Evening” commute. For me, and I assume most riders, these are very different experiences. Therfore, the questionaire is only lip service and cannot be used to identify problems and making improvments. Another NJT waste of money.
