On Saturday, November 13, Bike Walk Connecticut will hold its first-ever statewide bicycling and walking summit.
The event, to be held at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm, will address contemporary bicycling and walking issues in Connecticut including the implementation of the 2009 Complete Streets law, legal trends in bicycling and walking, and the economic impact of cycling and walking investment.
Featured speakers include Mary Collins, author of American Idle: A Journey Through our Sedentary Culture, and Tim Blumenthal, president of the Bikes Belong Coalition.
