We’re pleased to announce a revamp of the Mobilizing the Region website (driven largely by our very tech-savvy intern, Evan Carter). Besides a cleaner appearance, there are some new features that deserve noting:
- Social bookmarking through Digg, Delicious, etc.
- A new “Contact Us” form on the top navigation bar.
- The addition of our advocacy actions, events calendar, and the ability to sign up for weekly MTR bulletins, also along the top navigation bar. You can also subscribe to our events calendar using Google Calendar or an iCalendar-compatible application.
- Post and comment RSS feeds are now more visible, available at the top right.
- Links to our Facebook and Twitter pages, as well as a more convenient Donate button.
Moving from WordPress.com to a self-hosted WordPress platform also gives us additional flexibility to make future changes. Please send feedback our way!
