New York City’s Summer Streets are back this year. The city will close off parts of Park and 4th Avenues and Lafayette Street to cars on August 8, 15, and 22 between 7am and 1pm.
The city is also looking for volunteers who can help marshal the route and direct the thousands of New Yorkers expected to take to the streets. There’s an early bird 6:30am-10:30am shift, a 10am-2pm shift, and an all-day 6:30am-2pm shift. You can get involved here.
