The Tri-State Transportation Campaign’s 2008 Annual Benefit is tomorrow (November 6), from 6pm-9pm at the Midtown Loft, 267 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. We hope to see you there as we celebrate another successful year of TSTC advocacy.
Joining us as our guest speaker will be Congressman Jerrold Nadler of Manhattan and Brooklyn (who was handily re-elected yesterday), who will speak about the upcoming reauthorization of federal transportation legislation.
Over the last year, TSTC advocacy has helped drive reform at the Connecticut Dept. of Transportation, shape the Tappan Zee Bridge/I-287 corridor project, and shrink planned road widenings in New Jersey. TSTC fact sheets and analysis have contributed to and informed public discourse on congestion pricing and pedestrian and cyclist safety. Readership of Mobilizing the Region, which made its official debut in blog format one year ago today, has steadily grown.
Please join us! Individual benefit tickets are $150 (with a 50% nonprofit discount) and can be purchased online via credit card or via check/cash at the door.
