Bike Walk Connecticut, formerly the Central Connecticut Bicycle Alliance, is hiring its first-ever full-time executive director, another sign of how cycling and pedestrian advocacy has ramped up in the state in recent years. Recently, Bike Walk CT helped advocate for the state’s complete streets law and a “vulnerable users” bill to protect pedestrians, cyclists, emergency responders, and others.
