Reconnecting America, a national land use and transportation group, is hiring a full-time Policy Associate focusing on affordable housing near transit stations to work out of its Washington, DC office.
Per the job description:
The Policy Associate will serve as primary staff for Reconnecting America on policy issues related to mixed-income housing, equitable development, “green communities” and energy efficiency… A particular research focus for this position is on housing policy. The Policy Associate will work closely with other national partners working on affordable housing, community development, climate change and sustainability policies at all levels of government.
Responsibilities include writing reports and white papers, identifying policy strategies, coordinating the organization’s work with other groups, and representing Reconnecting America at conferences and forums. Read the full description here.
