So, What Are You Doing Tonight?

In you live in Huntington, Long Island, here are some of your options for this Friday night:

  1. Stay at home with the family;
  2. Attend the much anticipated Long Island Fall Festival, which attracts 300,000 people a year;
  3. Go to the opening night of “Body of Lies,” starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe;
  4. Attend the NYSDOT Region 10 public hearing on its plan to construct a jughandle at the intersection of Route 110 and 25. The public session runs from 4pm to 9pm, with the formal comment period not beginning until 7pm.

Update, 10/17: To its credit, NYSDOT has now scheduled another public hearing on October 23, a Thursday. It will take place from 4pm to 8pm at the Silas Wood Sixth Grade Center on 23 Harding Place, in Huntington Station.
