Environmental Defense Fund Is Hiring in New York

The Environmental Defense Fund’s Living Cities Program is looking for a “Community Partnerships Manager” to work in the NYC metropolitan area. The Manager would build networks of support for transportation reforms such as expansions of bus rapid transit, congestion pricing, and pay-as-you-drive insurance. The Manager would work primarily in Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx and would work with local elected and agency officials as well as civic, business, environmental justice, and other groups.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of work experience, knowledge of the NYC and NY state political and agency processes, a willingness to travel, and Spanish language skills.
