This afternoon Governor Paterson recommended Chris Ward, currently managing director of the General Contractors Association, as the Port Authority’s next executive director. A former Commissioner of the NYC Department of Environmental Protection, Ward is well respected throughout the region and is an excellent choice to run the agency. Congratulations, Chris!
